Meg and myself on a roady....13th-31st May

An exploration accross British Columbia....mood sat steadily on relaxation, reflection, and aspiration found from these serene places. Here's a little map of the tracks that we took accross the province, camping along side rivers, lakes, and finally the ocean...
The driving consistantly wound around lakes and mountains...

There were plenty of these furry guys to admire along the way

Reaching Vancouver the boat awaited to deliver us onto Vancouver Island where the ultimate destination was at heart and swiftly sorted for....

Pacific Rim Ocean side Campground, Tofino 17th May
Expected 'Tofino' weather came upon and rained us into staying with some locals (known through friends).
Living amongst the surf culture, riding the ocean, soaking up the horizon....we were undoubtidly happy with our experience in Canada's surf capital.

Victoria, Vancouverd 24th May....both very pretty....'cities' briefly enjoyed.
It was camping in peaceful places still at mind.

We stayed with a friend, known from Banff, in the heart of Vancouver and shook everything we had at the Commodore Lounge where Manu Chao played an amazing Spanish concert!

Ossoyoss and then Nelson.
Nelson: 29th May, as anticipated, incredibly similar to her sister town at the top of NZ's South Island (Nelson, NZ).
The difference with BC's little peice of hippy paradise was that it lay along side a lake....
Nelson NZ- situated on the coast.

Favourite Place in British Columbia:
Saltspring Island (22nd May): between Van Island and Vancouver. Rolling hills, provincial park camping grounds, Wineries, Cheese farms, and heaps of Art!
